Happy hump day, ya’ll!
I haven’t done WIAW in a while and I actually remembered to take pictures of my food from Monday, so here we go!
Breakfast: leftover fruit salad from a party I had over the weekend, Trader Joe’s cinnamon roll bread, & blueberry Fage Greek yogurt.
Three things to note:
I never have presliced fruit salad. A friend brought it over and I was so excited to have the leftovers. Chopped fruit is such a luxury.
I also didn’t mean to buy the cinnamon ROLL bread but the cinnamon raisin bread. Trader Joe’s just happened to be out. This toast is like crack.
I also ate half of this at home and half at work because I am usually in a rush (and I hate this).
Annnd it was 18 degrees that morning so I decided to get some coffee.
Blueberry decaf with almond milk for the win!
Mid Morning Snack: because no morning can go without a snack these days for this pregnant lady.
I had half of this green smoothie that I started drinking the other day. They were buy one get one free at the store over the weekend too! 🙂
Lunch: a not-very-exciting turkey and provolone sandwich on whole wheat bread with mustard & some snap pea crisps.
Also clearly eaten at my desk…
Lunch didn’t seem to hit the spot, so I had a peanut butter snack bar from Trader Joe’s shortly after.
I don’t remember which kind this is, but it was rock hard. I don’t know if that’s because I kept these in my car for a day or what, but it was kind of awful.
In the later afternoon, I had a bag of sliced apples too.
It was just me for the night, so I made a meal that my husband normally wouldn’t care too much for.
Panko breaded chicken tenders with honey mustard and veggies with shredded cheese on top.
I also may have had a few peppermint pudding cookies leftover from my cookie exchange over the weekend.
I could eat these things for days!
