Happy hump day!
Unfortunately, I was greeted last night and this morning with more snow. Boston, have you reached the record yet?! We are so done.
These eats are from yesterday. They are quite different from I had planned for, but I tend to just go with it these days in terms of what I eat based on how I feel, how hungry I am, and the fact that I cannot really eat a normal sized meal anymore.
7:00 AM – Breakfast Part 1: A blueberry bagel with butter & some coffee
A side of fresh flowers also never hurts 🙂
8:30 AM – Breakfast Part 2: Fresh fruit salad (strawberries, pineapple, blueberries) eaten at my desk as I settle into my work day
Random: it took me almost an hour to eat this little cup of fruit.
9:45 AM – 11:45 AM a coworker brought cookies in. People just started bringing them to me at my desk, no joke. So I had about 3 really awesome chocolate chip walnut cookies.
12:15 PM – “Lunch:” I ran out on my lunch to run an errand but decided I wanted a pick-me-up first. I treated myself to this Potbelly’s vanilla shake.
The little cookies they put on top are so good. I wish I could buy a bag. This kind of turned out to be my “lunch.” I had full intent of coming back to work after the errand and eating the minnestrone soup I brought, but it just never happened.
2:30 PM – Snack 1: I wasn’t feeling hungry enough for the soup yet (and I was kind of too busy at work to sit down and eat a whole bowl of it), so I had an apple with sharp white cheddar.
You guys. If you don’t eat apples with cheese, do it. It may sound weird, but it’s the best combo ever.
3:45 PM – Snack 2: I was about to leave work but got a little hungry. The soup didn’t sound good anymore so I figured I’d have it for dinner instead. I had a peanut butter chocolate chip Lara bar.
Oh man, I forgot how much I love that one! It’s like an actually healthy candy bar.
6:15 PM – Dinner: I finally break down and eat the soup!
Minnestrone is not complete without a ton of parmesan cheese on the top in my world.
7:00 PM – Dessert: I head to my Bible study. It was one of the ladies birthday’s over the weekend, so we had a cake for her.
It was funfetti (the best!) and so good.
That has to be about the most random day of (not so healthy) eating I’ve had in a while!
For fun, three random things:
- My heat did not work last night. I turned it up to about 78 (it’s normally at 68) and the heater still didn’t come on… I’m a little worried!
- I’m having dinner with a girlfriend tonight who I haven’t seen in a while (excited!).
- I had to kick Beans out of bed last night because he was being so annoying. I am way annoyed with him lately. I think it’s pregnancy, but I don’t know.
