While my friend Melissa was out, we pretty much ate our way across Boston. The fact that Boston has ten zillion good places to eat is pretty much awesome. I’m definitely going to miss all the wonderful food options when I move.
These eats are in no particular order. I can’t really remember when I ate them, but this was from last weekend.
Burger from Hillstone
I’d never been to this small, almost hidden restaurant in Quincy Market, but I will most certainly be back if I can. I have no idea what made this so special but this was legit the best burger of my life. And the fries were awesome too.
Pizza from Regina’s Pizzeria (the original)
Pizza is a must have in Boston. I know everyone says New York and Chicago have good pizza (and they do), but Boston should totally be up there on that list. Regina’s is bomb.
We got a pepper, sausage, ricotta pizza and a ham, pineapple, spinach white pizza which was my fave.
Cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcakes
Just like how I took my mom here for her recent visit, I had to take Melissa as well. I got the same cupcake – milk chocolate birthday and Melissa got a salted caramel.
And we waited a little too long to eat these since my frosting totally came off. Still just as good 😉
Pretzel from Harpoon
If you have the chance to tour Harpoon or just go hang out at their awesome beer hall, GET A PRETZEL! I’ve had both the cinnamon sugar & salted one. So flippin’ good.
They use spent grain to make the pretzels and their beer cheese sauce is to die for!
Peanut Butter Cup from Mike’s Pastry
Mike’s is known for cannolis, but I’m not really a fan. I always go for something else. Recently they’ve started offering really cool things like donuts and this GIANT peanut butter cup. It was SO thick and good.
Thai from Rod Dee in Cambridge
Thia food always wins.
Chicken pad thai, rod dee fried rice, & hot crispy chicken. One of the best thai food places around!
