This week I started a new routine of working out at my work gym in the morning before work with some girlfriends.
At first, the thought of waking up even earlier and having to lug all my things to get ready with me was not very appealing. But getting to workout early is still my favorite way to start the day. I find that I’m actually much more calm and less stressed by working out first thing. It was also really nice to have some company and motivation while working out.
On Tuesday, I did this workout thinking it wouldn’t leave me too sore before my race. I was so wrong. Use 10 pound weights and I guarantee you’ll be feeling it all over!
Repeat three times, add you favorite cardio or do stand alone for a solid sweat sesh.
Almost Race Time!
I’m actually in New York today for the weekend to visit and then my race is Sunday! I seriously can’t believe it’s almost here!
It’s supposed to be pretty darn chilly but I don’t think it’s supposed to snow. Hopefully I don’t completely freeze! Wish me luck!
