I feel so refreshed after this weekend! Maybe because I slept for a good majority of it? I thought the first-trimester-I-am-exhausted stage was over. It is not! I was in bed and sleeping at 8 pm on Friday, then slept in until about 7:45 AM on Saturday, and took about a 2 hour nap that afternoon… Wow! So I am feeling particularly rested!
While I was kind of a bum most the weekend and had some trouble getting motivated to do anything, I did get quite a bit accomplished after all. My to do list was pretty long, but I…
- put all my laundry away (serious feat for me, guys)
- did grocery shopping for Thanksgiving & the week
And got my Thanksgiving favors (apple butter) & turkey platter & stuff ready to go!
- deep cleaned my kitchen
- did some blog prep for some holiday-themed posts (excited!)
- went to Target and
got things I neededspent way too much money
And totally got this coffee. YES.
I seriously should not be allowed into Target this time of year. I want to buy everything.
- made some of my favorite pumpkin bread
- cleaned my guest room as it had baby explosion all over
It was really nice to just be home and focus on home life while also not feeling rushed and being able to take it slow. I’m definitely starting to realize that I just have to take it easier now the further into my pregnancy I get. It feels good to give myself a break for, you know, growing another human 😉
Also, I realize I didn’t get my weekly thankfulness post out. I was totally not thinking about it this week. Although I think the series and idea is fun, I’ve definitely kind of lost my interest in being so invested in it at this point. I blame pregnancy. Anyway, I’ll try to get a post up this week.
As for the rest of this week, I work Monday, Tuesday, and probably a partial day on Wednesday. Then I have the rest of the week off. I’m so excited for a little break right now!
