Happy hump day! How is your week going so far?
Like I said on Sunday, I wasn’t getting to the gym last week because Claire was sick, so I did this quick but effective circuit at home with some 8 lb. dumbbells.
I have to say I’m a super nerd and took my dumbbells with me on my trip just so I could do some strength workouts with a little extra oomph. I’m really addicted to weights lately, if you can’t tell 😉
To do this workout, you just need dumbbells that will make you feel the burn but still let you complete 2 sets of each exercise. Ideally, I would have done this with 10 lbs. but didn’t have them.
Go through each mini circuit twice before moving onto the next. Repeat three times if you’re really wanting a sweaty one.
And yes, I realize push ups in there twice. But that’s just how much I’m loving REAL push ups lately. You can do it!
Last week and this week have all been at-home workouts. I’ve been throwing in some Insanity DVDs (now making me question my decision to do that plan after LiveFit?!?) and body weight training workouts like these:

- Total Body 1,000 Rep Workout –> this ones a doozy!
- 5×3 Cardio Circuit
