Hope you had a good weekend. I ended up being pretty stressed over the weekend 🙁 I’ve been having some breathing issues that I’ve never had before, and it gives me a lot of anxiety. I have an appointment for it tomorrow, so hopefully something gets figured out.
I also had to work this weekend. The more my weekends include just a little bit of work, the more I feel like I never really get time to relax. So unfortunately, this weekend was filled with quite a bit of anxiety & uneasiness for me. But it’s a new day!
I had a slow morning so far that started with a bowl of oatmeal and a hot cup of tea. It got really chilly last night – like I was legit cold. So a hot breakfast and chilling in bed for a while sounded perfect.
Workouts have been hit or miss lately because of said breathing issues. A couple of days last week were pretty bad, and I just had to give up on my workout. It was so weird because that never happens to me, but I just had to accept it. I ran 3 miles today and felt alright, though.
Tuesday – tried a strength workout, but was out of breath & felt dizzy so I stopped one set in 🙁
Wednesday – felt a little better, did this POP Sugar all over toning workout & 20 minutes on the elliptical
Thursday – felt loads better; ran 2 miles and tried Zumba for the first time with a friend! I will definitely be going to that class again. Super fun & a good workout.
Friday – arms video & quick 3 sets of bicycle crunches, sit ups, and plank holds
Saturday – unplanned rest day
Sunday – real rest day
Monday – 3 mi run
I mentioned last week that I was going to be making a workout schedule. Well, that has totally not happened. I just winged it for the first few days of September, but by the time I got around to sitting down to make the schedule, it was one of the days I had to give up on my workout. I felt no motivation in creating a hardcore workout plan if I couldn’t even finish the days strength workout that is otherwise easy for me.
So, I think I’m just going to be okay with winging it for a while until I figure out what’s going on. I don’t want to push myself if it’s not safe.
Nothing too exciting happened this weekend, but here’s a couple of shots of what I was up to.
We watched Beans’ best friend, a Frenchie named Doc, for a day. This is basically what they do the entire time they’re together: nonstop playing.
We went out for Italian for date night on Saturday. I got fettuccine alfredo and the hubs got eggplant parmesan. I haven’t gotten alfredo in ages, so it was basically amazing. Thinking of having the leftovers for lunch!
