Let’s catch up with some recent favorites of mine 🙂
(And if you don’t know who Stella is, catch up on this post 😉 ) It’s basically done! Here’s a little sneak peek.
Originally, I thought I wanted to keep all the same decor as I used for Claire. We ended up taking about half of it to Claire’s new room though, so it was kind of bare.
Since Stella means “star” in Latin, I got kind of obsessed with all-things star for her nursery. I kept the colors white and grey just like before with Claire’s chevron stuff (or rather, all star themed stuff is grey and white already).
I picked up some cute stuff at Baby’s R Us last week and it makes me so happy!
Feeling slightly more normal
Last week, I talked about how my anxiety has been awful. I’ve truthfully had a really tough year and just been having a hard time lately. I feel like some of the fog has lifted for now.
I still struggle with anxiety, but it has felt good to be open about it and know others can relate. I also feel like I’m finally over being sick and have my “normal” energy levels back. Our schedule has been more predictable and less busy lately, so that’s helped too.
All the baby clothes
How adorable are these?
You guys. I am definitely never going to have ANY money between having two girls. Let the matching outfits commence. I want to buy #allthethings.
And I found this pineapple sleeper OMG.
I think my life is complete.
Sticking with potty training
Tomorrow marks two weeks since we started potty training. I wouldn’t say that the method I used is some miracle method that potty trains kids in three days because that is not where we are right now. But I am super proud of my husband and I for sticking with it.
It was not easy at all for the first four days or so. But now that it’s been so long without diapers and all three of us are used to adding in going to the potty into our routine, it isn’t as hard.
As of right now, C is excited to go and will go about 75% of the time we ask her to. The other times she probably just doesn’t have to go or is too excited/distracted to actually want to. Lately, she’s been having only about one accident a day, but it’s always our fault for not paying better attention. At this point, she doesn’t ever tell me she has to go. I have to watch her for signs that she needs to. But the method we’re trying says that’s okay and that it’ll come with time.
I know everybody with a kid is super interested in potty training tips and tricks, so I will do a post on this soon. I think I’ll give a one month update of how we started and how things have gone and then keep updating it as time goes on and we hopefully get completely potty trained.
New 31 Stuff
I had a 31 party recently and got a ton of new stuff. I had a party maybe five years ago but hadn’t really gotten anything from the company since.
I’m in love with it all! I got lots of bins to organize things around the house as well as this giant beach tote.
I think my favorite thing about 31 is the personalization 🙂
Getting soooo close to being done with pregnancy
Forever. Because yes, this is my last baby. Just like I was with Claire, I am 200% over being pregnant right now. I am not someone who loves or even likes being pregnant even a little. Gimme that baby!
