Hope your Labor Day did not involve much laboring! My weekend was spent catching up on
being lazy relaxing. This was one of the first weekends that was free of a jam-packed schedule, so I took it as the chance to chill out. Worth it.
We didn’t do much, but here’s some random things worth mentioning.
I found this awesome dress on clearance for $27!
Mr. hubs is having a work formal in a few weeks, and I had no evening gowns anymore. He offered to actually take me dress shopping (so sweet). And we found the dress at the first store for a steal. I think it ended up being like 70% off!
Totally cannot wait to wear it!
In other news, I also got a new cell phone 🙂
I am not a huge phone person (although someone I’m married to may beg to differ…). I am so excited to have a new phone, though, because my old one was basically force closing all my programs ALL the time and would restart itself about twice a day, which took 5+ minutes!
Hopefully this one lasts a little better!
I didn’t make a whole lot of time to workout this week, and had some unplanned “rest” days (aka, too busy to workout days), but it wasn’t too bad of a week.
Tuesday – 3.5 mi run
Wednesday – 3 mi run
Thursday – 3 rounds Skinny Summer Arms circuit & 3 mi run
Friday – rest
Saturday – Jillian Michael’s Yoga Meltdown, level 1
Sunday – rest
Monday – 4 mi run
Since my last half, fitness has been on the back burner for me. I’ve basically been on the schedule of working out when I feel like it, doing whatever sounds good at the time. That’s been fine, but to shake things up, I need to excite myself with a new plan… that I still have yet to create 😉
