I have a great company, product, and giveaway to share with you today!
For those of you that don’t know, I’m kind of headband obsessed. Headbands are the messy-haired lazy girl’s best friend. And that is me my friends.
I like to wash my hair
never as little as possible, and let’s just say that some days are strictly headband days. My hair will basically not look good unless it’s put up in a headband, all tucked away. And if the headband is cute? Well, then it really makes my three day old hair-mess look a little less craptastic. Anything for a cute easy hairdo, please!
When I was contacted about doing a giveaway for Headbands of Hope, I was so excited not only because the headbands are wicked cute, but because there’s an amazing cause behind the company.
The company was started by a college student who was inspired to make a difference in young girls lives who are affected by cancer. To help them maintain their girliness even in the midst of chemo, she came up with idea of donating headbands to girls affected by cancer. The mission of the company is “to spread hope in all girls and fund research for childhood cancer, one headband at a time.”
For every headband purchased from Headbands of Hope, $1 is donated to cancer research for the St. Baldricks Foundation and a headband is given to a girl in the hospital. I love that!
I was sent a pretty headband that came packaged very nicely.
It got a navy blue velvet bow headband, that I think is absolutely adorable.
It’s this great velvety material and the bow construction is really well made. Obviously, I’m excited that I got a free headband to add to my ever-growing collection. But what makes me even happier is that this company will give away just as nice of a headband to a girl with cancer just to make her day and show her support.
I wore my headband the other day as a workout headband actually… Just because, why not? It is one of those headbands that will actually stay in place! I promise I tested it!
However, it would obviously be better suited as a cute wear-to-work headband. But it does work for both uses!
I love this headband, but they have so many other cute styles that I’m dying to have. Like this headwrap?
Perfect for the cooler weather lately and again, good for those my-hair-has-seen-better-days days!
Now three lucky readers get the chance to win a navy blue bow headband too! Just enter the giveaway below 🙂
