Four years ago today, we said “I do!”
It feels like yesterday and many more years than just four all at the same time. Today I wanted to share a little peek at what marriage means for us.
…going on all the adventures together. We have been on so many trips and to so many new places together.
…always having someone there, even when you move to three different states in four years.
…going through the good times and bad. Beans’ leg break a few summers ago was extremely rough on us as a family. It was one of the first times we really had to come together and get over something together because it was just so sad and we weren’t sure how Beans would do.
…staying up late talking about all the things that I often think don’t matter, but then feeling so good about having someone who does care about all the little details in my life.
…sharing coffee 🙂 and bites of all our food.
…getting better at communicating each year we’re together. We have conflict like any relationship but I think we’ve gotten so much better at dealing with it and knowing how to best respond to the other person.
…welcoming a sweet little someone into the world who we made.
…and then raising her and loving every minute of it. I love the little tight knit family we have become and how we are evolving and growing as parents and with our new daughter.
…knowing that we’re creating our own legacy and family values all on our own.
I love how different we have decided to do a lot of things in life and I owe so much of what we have and how happy I am with our life to my husband. Doing life with him is wonderful because he is so positive, works so hard, and is extra caring with everything that’s important to him. I couldn’t have asked for a better husband.
“Home is wherever I’m with you.”
No questions today. Just sharing the love!
