Hey guys! I hope you had a nice long Christmas weekend!
I don’t have a lot of time today as I’m headed back to work already (whomp, whomp), so I thought I’d share some quick snaps of my holiday.
My mother-in-law did a themed tree this year with large bulbs, silver snowflakes, & colored lights. I loved looking at it all week long.
This is where most of our hanging out took place over the week. She also just redid the living room. I felt like I was hanging out in a magazine the whole time!
We all had ugly sweaters, even Beans! Note: my husband’s sweater has actual lights on the Christmas tree. He made it. The back says “HO HO HO” in pom poms too. I think it’s so hilarious!
The day after Christmas, my sister-in-law had everyone over for breakfast. I had pancakes, biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs, fruit, & lots of coffee. It was sooo good.
We got back to Boston quite late Saturday night or early Sunday morning depending on how you look at it. Sunday morning we had our own little belated Christmas with each other.
Hubby got me lots of fun things including new pjs, a fuzzy robe, lots of foodie goodies, a scarf, and some earrings.
Santa was also pretty good to us this year and got us new bedding!
We desperately needed new bedding. Our old stuff was legit falling to pieces and was really stained. Hubby (er, Santa) picked a good one!
After present opening, we had aebleskiver for breakfast. Then we did some chores to get caught up before the week and had this super yummy turkey pot pie from Trader Joe’s and steamed veggies.
It was so nice to have a break, but I am happy to be back and get into some sort of routine. I have Thursday and Friday off though, so it’ll be nice to ease into the week with a short work week 🙂
