Maybe some of you have been wondering where the heck I’ve been lately in the blog world. I’ve only really had time to sort of catch up on Twitter and read my emails. The past few days have been a little crazy for me!
I’m leaving for a camping trip tomorrow with my hubby & Beans, so my focus has been gearing up for that. I’m so excited to take a vacation!
I hadn’t done any strength in a few days so I whipped out 3 rounds of my Burnin’ Arms & Legs Circuit. My legs were so burning after that. Then a 3 mile run in 70 degree weather. Awesome!
And as soon as I’m back from vaca, I start half-marathon training for the Yukan Run Triple Threat Half-Marathon! Although I’ve been running consistently, I’m really looking forward to starting a training plan and hopefully running with some friends this summer as well.
If it wasn’t apparent from this post, I am a total bag lady. I love me some purses and any kind of travel bag. Any time I get ready for a trip, I get all excited because I can use all these bags I have that otherwise never get used.
For some reason, I think this is like the cutest backpack on the planet. My designated camp pack:
It’s ES brand, which yes, is from Wal-Mart. I think it was like $17? Best investment everrrr. It’s just so functional but actually good looking. I used this for my junior year of college. Sometimes I wish I could go to school just to use this backpack every day again…
Onto another bag… I realized that I really must love camping if I have a designated “camping purse.” In my head, I was like, “where’s my camping purse?” as I was packing. And then it dawned on me that that is a little odd.
Behold the “camping purse.”
Just a corduroy bag from Old Navy, but since it’s brown it doesn’t show dirt. Nothing fancy, either, so I won’t mind
if when ashes get on this. 😉
Another thing dawned on me… most people who love to camp probably wouldn’t even take a purse… But I’m still too girly to be totally purse-less!
ANYWAY… I am really excited to camp, get away, be mostly technology-free, enjoy a good book, and just be in God’s creation. I am admittedly most excited about these bad boys, though.
SO big! Marshmallows are my jam!
I’m off to finish packing and then leave early tomorrow morning. I’ll be checking in here and there, probably mostly on Instagram.
Look for a giveaway tomorrow, and some guest posts toward the end of the week 🙂 See ya!
