Happy Thursday 🙂
I am 32 weeks today. Only 2 more months to go? I’m soooo excited to be on the home stretch here.
How I’m Feeling: generally, a lot better than my first two trimesters but I am still having a lot of lovely symptoms. My backache and heartburn are the most annoying things right now. I also just started getting really really tired again and don’t think that will be getting any better.
Weight Gain: I was actually down a pound at my last appointment. I feel like I am steadily gaining and not feeling overwhelmed by the weight, but I am also not checking at home at all.
Maternity Clothes: Right now, I basically only have three pairs of pants: work pants (all black), one good pair of jeans that still fits, & one pair of soft PJ like pants for home. This is all I wear besides changing up my tops.
I thought I needed a little more variety with work clothes since I am literally wearing the same two pairs of pants every week. I have a bunch of great skirts for work, but it’s been way too cold for me to try to wear them lately.
I got some tan pants and this rouche sided sweater top at Destination Maternity.
They were both clearance items and they had a sale offering an addition 40% off clearance. So the pants were $12! Not bad.
Sleep: it’s flat out horrible now. The past three nights I have gotten barely any sleep. Add more general exhaustion to that, I am not feeling so hot these days.
Fitness: I haven’t had much time lately due to traveling to Colorado and then to Connecticut. My routine has been totally thrown off. I have made some time for quick 10 minute videos here and there, but it’s not very consistent these days.
Craving: Kraft mac n cheese, Cheez Its, ice cream, Balance bars
Yes, I had this for dinner this week. Don’t worry, though, it was at least “organic.” 😉
Food Aversions: anything healthy? Just kidding, except not really…
Missing: laying on my back, running, energy, beer
Movement: to me, she feels like she is doing slow yoga moves all the time. She likes to stretch out on my sides, which feels so odd. It feels like a foot or knee is just protruding from where my obliques would be if I had abs.
New for Baby: I got quite a bit at my Colorado shower. I got a car seat, a play gym, TONS of blankets including a really pretty handmade one, some clothes, a mobile for the crib,
Most Looking Forward to: going into labor, not being pregnant anymore, meeting my baby girl, setting up the crib this weekend
Questions for You:
- Any advice on how to stop dwelling on the time I have left? I am already so done, but 2 more months still sounds like a long time.
- What are the most important things to get done before baby gets here? I feel like I am so tired/not with it these days that I am going to be too lazy to get prepared!
