Happy New Year’s Eve! This year went so quickly for me – it’s crazy to think it’s almost over. I usually do a post like this at the end of every year to look back on my top moments or revisit all the things that happened in the year.
Here’s my Instagram top 9, which I find kind of funny because almost every photo has the beach in the background!
It was definitely the year of Hawaii for me for sure!
Here’s what 2016 held for me.
1 // Claire turned one. And went from a little baby to a big toddler in two seconds flat!
I’m excited to be more open about this part of my life on here soon and excited to see what 2017 brings for my business.
4 // Celebrated four years of marriage. I can’t believe we will have been married half a decade later next year!
5 // Took an official break from blogging, and then had a hard time coming back to blogging with all the transitions we were going through as a family at the time.
7 // Got pregnant with baby girl number two!
This has been by far the biggest blessing for me this year. I am so excited to be growing our family and can’t wait to meet my new lil pineapple in a few short months!
8 // I took a big trip with Claire to Colorado and Tennessee and got to see my best friend get married.
It was so good to see family and have a long weekend with some of my closest friends. I’ve known all the above ladies since middle or elementary school!
9 // I launched a collective mom blog with two of my long-time blog friends, Danica and Emily. I didn’t ever officially announce this here since I was kind of not blogging much at the time.
We have big plans for Grace for Every Mom for 2017. I’m so glad to have another outlet for writing and create a place for moms to connect.
10 // We had two friends visit this year, my work friend from Boston Alicia in July and my best friend from Colorado, Chloe, was just here last week for Christmas.
I’m so thankful that people are willing to come visit us when we are so far away and experience Hawaii with us!
Next week, I’ll share how our Christmas and recent trip to the Big Island went as well as my goals for 2017. I hope you have a great New Year!
